2020 Hemp Workshop
Ended Nov 1, 2021
Full course description
The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Industrial Hemp Pilot Project was initiated in 2018 in support of the prospective hemp industry in Florida. With the start of commercial production in Florida in 2020, the year also represents a transition “from pilot project to program” at UF/IFAS. The UF/IFAS Hemp Program continues to support the viability and sustainability of the hemp industry through expanding research and extension efforts. Research activities include assessment of the crop, cropping systems, and their ecological and economic impacts. UF/IFAS Hemp Extension represents a broad range of outreach efforts across the state. The UF/IFAS Hemp Virtual Workshop is a collection of research and extension updates, covering topics including: Hemp Physiology and Management, Variety Trials, Invasion Risk, Pest and Diseases, and Extension. Join us for the on-demand workshop experience on your time and at your pace with more than 20 videos and documents featuring the latest hemp research and extension. The workshop also offers opportunities to engage with the experts across the program. See you there!
